  • Protection to the underlying layer from the abrasive and destructive forces of traffic and the environment Single Seal and Double Seal

A double seal is a sprayed application of bituminous binder followed by a single layer of stone chippings, followed by a second spray application of bituminous binder and a single layer of smaller sized stone chippings or sand. After that you leave the surface to settle before patching or sealing it with hot or cold asphalt.
